2026 International Chinese Language Day Activities Held

On April 9, the 2026 International Chinese Language Day activity "Chinese Language: Light Up Colorful Dreams", undertaken by the School of Humanities (International Education Center), was held at the square in front of the library of Xuefeng Campus. Lyu Qiang, vice president of the college, attended the event and delivered a speech. More than 100 teachers and students participated in the activity to embrace cross-cultural exchanges together.

Seven themed experience zones were set up for the event, namely Origin of Dreams in Characters, Setting Sail with Poetry, Understanding Through Riddles, Leaving Traces with Rubbings, Writing Down Dreams, Colorful Dreams on Lacquer Fans and Millennium Dreams in Costumes. Participants experienced oracle bone inscriptions, classic poems, rubbings, calligraphy, lacquer fan making, Hanfu culture and other activities to feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

This event has built a platform for language practice. Students enhanced mutual understanding, forged friendships and improved their abilities through communication, fostering a sound campus cultural atmosphere. Going forward, the college will continue to launch more wonderful cultural activities, enabling the Chinese language to serve as an important bond that carries youthful dreams and connects the world.
